KPMG is currently seeking a Federal Practice Security Assistant, to join our Government Audit Organization.
Maintain the U.S. government-required background investigation process for initial and periodic update clearances
Utilize the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) to process background investigations, visit authorizations, and visit requests
Maintain personnel security records in accordance with the requirements of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)
Provide initial security briefings to clearance recipients and participate in annual refresher security briefings
Debrief personnel and manage all aspects of the clearance termination process
Minimum one year of Federal security clearance experience managing data with working knowledge of the (NISPOM) requirements and Security Information Management Systems (SIMS)
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Active Top Secret (TS) clearance
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Ability to complete training and obtain certifications required by the Defense Security Service
