Manager, Audit (Tempe, Arizona) (Multiple Positions)
Execute external audit engagements for various clients, including Securities and Exchange Commission registrants. Perform account functions, including billing, fee analysis, and new service development. Identify performance improvement opportunities for assigned clients. Collaborate with colleagues to help ensure the proper deployment of audit staff on client projects. Demonstrate in-depth technical accounting knowledge. Pursue business development opportunities. Establish and maintain client relationships and professional networks. Supervise staff and provide feedback in a timely manner.
WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.)
Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience. Must have an active Arizona CPA license. Must have experience in the following: U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles; U.S. Generally Accepted Auditing Standards; Public Company Accounting Oversight Board Auditing Standards; Working with public and privately held companies to communicate audit objectives; Planning and developing audit plans and procedures; and Auditing internal controls. Travel up to 60% required. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
