Director, Deal Advisory (San Francisco, California) (Multiple Positions)

Apply U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Review accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards. Prepare tailored reports specific to key issues such as normalized earnings, valuation model input assumptions, achievability of management's budget, and indebtedness considerations. Provide financial and business due diligence assistance to companies and private equity investors. Analyze target company data to identify historical and projected financial and operating trends, quality of earnings, working capital considerations, potential liabilities and risks. Coordinate business development efforts. Provide real-time feedback and guidance to clients and diligence providers to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.

WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.)


Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field and 3 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field and 7 years of related work experience, out of which 5 years must be post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience. Must have experience with the following: Developing data analytics tools; Leveraging buyout models and underlying drivers of profitability; Acquisition and financing agreements structure, protections and mechanics; Applying U.S. GAAP to software revenue recognition; Securities and Exchange Commission financial reporting issues; and IFRS.

Travel up to 50% required.
