KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Development Technical to join our KPMG Technology Organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Project Managers, IT and business management on multiple development projects to identify and translate complex business requirements into architectural design

  • Provide comprehensive consultation to both business unit and IT management and staffs at the highest technical level on all phases of the project development cycle

  • Highly accountable for the effectiveness, quality and the timeliness of project design decisions and how easily these solutions can be implemented

  • Provide day to day technical administration including upgrades and release management, analyze log files, config file changes, installation and configuration documents (runbook), upgrade validation/testing, change control, technical issue/problem resolution; oversee the development and maintenance of appropriate project technical documentation including design, configuration, installation

  • Work with service management, GSC, mobility services, deskside support, server and database admin team applications as needed on technology upgrades, maintenance, and issue resolution

  • Act as an expert technical resource to development staffs in all phases of development and implementation process; may lead a small technical team

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of experience as primary project lead on medium to large size application development projects

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

  • Proficient in the applicable technology, experience with state of the art development tools and structured & object oriented methodologies

  • Experience with .net. AngularJS, c#.net, heavy SQL

  • Detail-oriented and thorough, with effective time management skills and excellent technical writing and editing skills, as well as skilled in organizing technical information based on reviewing meeting notes, business specifications, interviewing clients, architects and business analysts

  • Must have the ability to work effectively with clients, IT management and other team members, and possess strong verbal/written communication, problem solving, analytical and independent judgment skills to support an environment driven by customer service and team work; ability to positively influence, mentor and be a credible source of knowledge to less experienced team members
