KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Disaster Recovery to join our KPMG Technology Organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning and coordinating of periodic tests, documenting the results of tests, identifying and communicating recommended enhancements to the plans and procedures

  • Ensure adherence to the Firm's Disaster Recovery Governance Framework and IT contingency policies

  • Provide assistance in documenting procedures, training materials and DR policies as assigned

  • Conduct research projects upon request

  • Involve key stakeholders and management in systems or strategic discussions and document resolution

  • Participate in operational projects to mature and grow the Firm's Disaster Recovery program

Qualifications:

  • Minimum three years technology background with good knowledge of the relationships between data centers, servers, networks, databases and applications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience

  • Competent with MS Office Suite; Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Microsoft Project

  • Attention to detail with the ability to manage more than one concurrent work assignment; ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

  • Strong verbal/written communication, problem solving, analytical and independent judgment skills to support an environment driven by customer service and team work

  • Ability to positively influence, mentor and be a credible source of knowledge to less experienced team members
