KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Disaster Recovery to join our KPMG Technology Organization.
Support the planning and coordinating of periodic tests, documenting the results of tests, identifying and communicating recommended enhancements to the plans and procedures
Ensure adherence to the Firm's Disaster Recovery Governance Framework and IT contingency policies
Provide assistance in documenting procedures, training materials and DR policies as assigned
Conduct research projects upon request
Involve key stakeholders and management in systems or strategic discussions and document resolution
Participate in operational projects to mature and grow the Firm's Disaster Recovery program
Minimum three years technology background with good knowledge of the relationships between data centers, servers, networks, databases and applications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience
Competent with MS Office Suite; Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Microsoft Project
Attention to detail with the ability to manage more than one concurrent work assignment; ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Strong verbal/written communication, problem solving, analytical and independent judgment skills to support an environment driven by customer service and team work
Ability to positively influence, mentor and be a credible source of knowledge to less experienced team members
