KPMG is currently seeking an Associate/Sr. Associate Forensic Technology Data Analytics in Forensic - Technology for our KPMG Risk Consulting practice.
Assist Advisory financial services clients in evaluating, validating, enhancing, and automating financial crimes systems such as anti-money laundering, sanctions systems, and fraud prevention/detection systems
Select features and building and optimizing classifiers using machine learning techniques
Data mining using methods for pattern discovery and clustering and perform testing or algorithms to identify problems and measure performance
Process, clean, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis
Enhance data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems
Write reports summarizing project work conducted for review by KPMG project leadership and ultimately the client
Minimum of one year of relevant professional experience
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Mathematics
Understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, CART and other tree based models.
Experience with common data science toolkits such as R, Python, MatLab, SAS, SPSS, SQL, or Tableau
Experience in the concepts of statistical inference such as hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, probability, ANOVA, or Chi-Square
Statistics skills such as distributions, statistical testing, and regressions

Additional Qualifications for Senior Associate:
Minimum of three years of relevant professional experience
Exceptional interpersonal skills demonstrating the ability to gain the confidence and respect of senior executives and team members to generate new business relationships and projects
