KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, System Administrator to join our Data and Analytics Organization.


  • Responsible for the design, construction, implementation and support of software that meets the business requirements

  • Work with project manager in planning and estimating throughout the complete life cycle; identify and evaluate alternatives and present the most efficient and cost effective solution

  • Work with business analysts, architects, project leaders and clients to review the business requirements, prepare technical design documents and non-functional and functional prototypes as needed

  • Perform software construction, unit testing and debugging; Software construction may include the preparation of new software, reuse of existing code, modification of existing programs, or integration of purchased solutions

  • Coordinate and supervise software construction done by developers; Lead, moderate or participate in code reviews

  • Analyze and resolve defects identified through the QA process; prepare or assist in the preparation of implementation documentation; and support the implementation of applications into production


  • Minimum five years of diverse work experience in systems analysis and software development

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience

  • Development experience on Linux and Windows using Java, C++, C#, Python, Ruby, Nodejs, Powershell, Bash

  • Experience developing apps/tools using BI and Data Analytics Tools including QlikView, R, Tableau, Alteryx, SAS is a plus

  • Experience developing with MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Hadoop stack and ETL tools, NiFi, Scoop, Pig, Hive

  • Experience with data analysis and advanced T-SQL code including complex queries, stored procedures, CTE's, views, triggers
