KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Resource Manager to join our KPMG Technology Organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all resource managers are entering accurate and quality information into system so that resources can be properly aligned to projects and programs

  • Act as point of escalation for resourcing issues; monitor, assign and troubleshoot user issues through online tool; and report resourcing conflicts and shortages for leadership action

  • Provide analytics and trends to leadership that will assist in organization's short and long term strategies for resource planning, hiring and training

  • Prepares reports/analysis for monthly operational review meetings

  • Monitor resources against projects, ensuring that contractors are either placed on other projects or are off-boarded at project end; ensure procedural documentation is up to date and ensure ongoing training for successful onboarding of resource managers and PMLs into online tool

  • Proactively seek opportunities to improve quality and efficiency in resource management processes through interaction with cross-departmental partners, i.e., Project Management Office, Portfolio Management, and end users; act as project lead or part of a team to execute ongoing resource management initiatives that will lead towards resource management optimization

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of experience with Human Capital/Human Resources/Information Technology/Resource Management

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university

  • Ability to influence others by utilizing strong interpersonal skills and data management capabilities

  • Proficient in MS Office suite and strong attention to detail

  • Strong verbal/written communication, with ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority

  • Must be able to prioritize, delegate and foster the development of high performance teams to lead/support an environment driven by customer service and team work; strong trouble-shooting and organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
