KPMG is currently seeking a Manager to join our Pension Services Organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day to day oversight and administration of the firm's pension/savings plans and review benefit determinations, calculations, and payment authorizations

  • Communicate directly with partners, employees, and ancillary individuals on advanced issues

  • Interface with plan actuaries and vendors while handling system related issues

  • Help ensure procedural integrity oversee existing policies and procedures are in compliance with plan documents and applicable law, and create new policies and procedures as needed

  • Manage various short and long term projects and participate in the execution of federal filings and required disclosures

  • Build and maintain relationships with key internal individuals to establish partnerships and create value added services

Qualifications:

  • Minimum eight years of experience within the pension field and at least two years of supervisory experience

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

  • Experience with actuarial concepts, as well as strong leadership and project management skills

  • Advanced knowledge of qualified and non-qualified defined benefit and defined contribution plans, as well as strong knowledge of compliance and government regulations related to qualified and non-qualified plans such as ERISA, DOL, and IRC

  • Experience with Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) desirable

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and data management skills with the ability to work with large files and provide quantitative analysis as needed
