KPMG is currently seeking an Associate, Server and Storage to join KPMG Technology Organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide service for complex enterprise system hardware and software problems; collaborate with peers to coordinate solutions

  • Provide assistance with actions for fine tuning and capacity planning of existing systems

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new hardware and software developments; participate in the evaluation of alternative approaches and new software or modifications to enhance operations and development activities

  • Maintain installation and configuration procedure

  • Participate in generation and/or implementation of new ideas for enhancements and improvements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum one year of Systems administrator experience, preferably in large Enterprise Level Data Centers

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience

  • Technical knowledge across various disciplines to resolve complex infrastructure integration issues and problems and interface with multiple vendors to coordinate resolution to both hardware and software problems

  • Troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work in a high-pressure team environment, handle multiple tasks and react quickly to problems and issues

  • Experience in Enterprise Class Solutions and services including Storage (EMC - Clarion CX series, VNX7500 (block and file), Isilon, Symmetrix - Vmax, Celerra NS Series, Centera, etc. ), EMC ECC/Ionix, HP 3 PAR, Cisco SAN Fabric, Veritas NetBackup, Data Domain, Enterprise Tape and disk based back-up infrastructure, VERITAS Volume Manager, EMC PowerPath, Multi-pathing configuration, Fail-Over, Replication

  • Experience in technologies such as Cisco UCS, VMware ESX virtualization including both Server and Desktop hosting, Citrix/Xen App/Xen Server/Xen Desktop, VMware View, related VDI technologies including session brokers, server operating systems and hardware (Windows 2003 to current versions, Solaris 9-10)
