KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, to join our Independence Organization.
Manage staff to help ensure they are completing assigned tasks, inquiries and projects timely and results of work meet set objectives
Document current policies, processes, and protocols to help ensure restrictions and other relevant audit client attributes are consistent and properly maintained
Identify and contribute to the implementation of process enhancements and improvements related to the various databases used to process, archive and maintain restriction and related information
Research and analyze corporate and other structures and related securities in response to requests to add, revise or remove entities and their affiliated attributes to and from the firm's Independence databases
Apply SEC, AICPA GAO and other rules and guidance to research, analyze data, make determinations, and document results to support conclusions while identifying and escalating potential issues
Minimum eight years of accounting or professional services experience with at least three years of experience managing a team; preferably within a professional services term or similar environment
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Strong project management experience
Experience using research tools such as Edgar, Bloomberg, Dun and Bradstreet, Audit Analytics and/or other reference sources with the ability to extract and analyze complex information
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
