KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Cloud Security Architect to join our KPMG Technology Organization.
Lead the direction of information security through the development of a cloud-based security strategy that addresses the threats to the environment and data; define information security controls and patterns that support risk assessments and support the development of secure cloud-based architectures
Collaborate with technology architecture teams by performing security analysis of proposed architectures, providing risk assessment feedback, including security requirements
Collaborate with engineering teams to drive the product roadmaps for security tools, by providing security requirements that help to map security controls and patterns to product features
Provide security consulting services internally to the organization by giving security guidance and functioning as an information security subject matter professional; provide technical security expertise to KPMG teams deploying cloud-based solutions including communicating security architectural decisions, benefits, and risks
Serve as the Security Lead in the design, implementation and integration phases of cloud-based solutions to meet client and firm security requirements, address enterprise risks and exposures in cloud-based solutions; interact with project teams, KPMG partners and other senior members of the firm to provide advice on security and assist with compensating control alternatives where security requirements cannot be met
Minimum eight years of security architecture experience, preferably within a professional services firm or similar environment
Minimum of five years leading IT security architecture efforts and delivery of cloud-based solutions, that requires close collaboration with project teams and business stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field from an accredited college or university; Master's degree from an accredited college or university preferred; Certifications requirements: CISSP and either CCSP or CCSK. Other certifications of importance: MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure, AWS Certified Solutions Architect
Strong understanding of cloud computing architecture, technical design and implementations, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as Service (SaaS) delivery models across multiple different cloud vendors. Strong knowledge of secure development and general software development methodologies and practices
Experience with security related regulatory requirements, such as NIST, PCI, ISO 27001, HIPAA compliance
Excellent verbal/written communication, collaboration, analytical and presentation skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and team work; ability to facilitate communications to business stakeholders and interact with all levels of management; ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and comfortable with ambiguity; US Citizenship required
