KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, .Net Application Administrator to join our KPMG Technology Organization.
Provide installation, upgrades, maintenance, monitoring and support for custom .net application
Perform backup, recovery, restore, replication on custom .net application
Install and manage applications and dependent components, including packages that utilize IIS, Microsoft Reporting Services
Monitor application and take corrective action to prevent or minimize system downtime
Triage and Troubleshoot incidents to resolve application incidents. If necessary, co-ordinate with third party vendors and development teams towards a successful issue resolution
Develop and maintain run books, architecture diagrams, maintenance plans, and other platform related documents
Minimum of three years of experience in administrating Web and .NET based applications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience
Solid understanding of Microsoft technologies including .NET IIS and reporting solutions; solid understanding of SQL Server administration and middleware technologies like ESB and MQ series
Experience in configuring, working and troubleshooting with Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS), Active Directory, Kerboros; experience in troubleshooting performance issues on Microsoft server 2008,2012 and SQL server 2008,2012
Must have experience with end-to-end application testing, defect management, change and release management and escalation processes; experience working in a production support environment providing On-Call support, including off hours and weekend support as necessary
Strong verbal/written communication, problem solving, analytical and independent judgment skills to support an environment driven by customer service and team work; ability to positively influence, mentor and be a credible source of knowledge to less experienced team members; US Citizenship is required
