KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate in IT Advisory (ITAS) -Cyber Security Services for our KPMG Risk Consulting practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the design, architecture, verification, testing, and governance of cybersecurity best practices

  • Support the execution of penetration testing and cybersecurity risk mitigation of medical device platforms and environments

  • Identify technological opportunities and evaluate the Information Security impacts on the client's business

  • Help with the execution of security assessments to understand compliance risks, identify opportunities for improvement, and propose remediation plan in line with compliance goals and business strategies

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three years of experience with regulatory requirements and compliance issues in at least one of the following areas: FDA and EU MDR regulatory requirements and guidelines, as well as NIST, ISO/IEC 80001, ISO 14971:2007, ISO 30111:2013, and ISO 29147 frameworks/standards

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and approximately three years of work experience in an Information Security role or a Master's degree and a minimum of one year of related work experience in an Information Security role

  • Credentialed in cyber and privacy (e.g., CISSP-ISSAP, CEH, CMDCP) is preferred

  • Knowledge of incident response and crisis management processes, and third party risk management considerations

  • Advanced written and verbal communication and presentation skills, teamwork, and client service skills

  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 80% of the time, work in a fast paced, results driven environment, grasp new technology, and contribute at a rapid pace
