KPMG is currently seeking an Associate, to join our Federal Accounting Organization.
Analyze daily Accounts Payable (A/P) transactions; including subcontractor and vendor invoices
Determine appropriate approvals and engagement information is obtained
Review expense reports for firm wide and federal compliance regulation adherence
Oversee the A/P email inbox while working closely with internal and external customers to help ensure efficient and effective response time
Work with team members to prepare weekly Automated Clearing House (ACH) check runs
Help to ensure accuracy of payments, review vendor and subcontractor records and 1099 classification for year-end reporting, and other pertinent information
A minimum of one year of A/P experience; preferably with a government contractor
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
Experience with Cost Point 7.0 and Deltek Time & Expense 9.0 or higher preferred
Ability to respond to questions and resolve escalated issues promptly, while providing exceptional customer service
U.S. Citizenship required
