KPMG is currently seeking an Associate/Senior Associate in Internal Audit & Regulatory Compliance Services (IARCS) - Contract Compliance for our Los Angeles as well a San Diego KPMG Risk Consulting practice.


  • Understand and identify opportunities for KPMG's practices and service offerings

  • Provide high quality professional day-to-day execution of vendor, royalty, and licensing audit engagements in addition to other types of third party reviews

  • Analyze complex license agreements and identify contract issues, and serve a variety of clients within the media and entertainment industry

  • Project a professional image of KPMG

Additional Responsibilities for Senior Associate:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to associates

  • Draft reports for management review and document review results in work papers

  • Lead meetings with clients

  • Prepare testing plan and lead testing sessions with customer's IT Administrators


  • One year of advisory experience in finance and/or internal or external audit and third party audit experience including royalty, profit participations, licensing reviews, or compliance issues

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to conduct meetings with clients and third parties in challenging surroundings

  • Experience with data analysis tools including Excel, Access, and Sequel

  • Travel may be up to 80-100%

  • Mandarin or Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills necessary

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future

Additional Qualifications for Senior Associate:

  • Must have three years of experience of vendor, royalty, and licensing audit engagements in addition to other types of third party reviews
