KPMG is currently seeking a Manager to join our KPMG Spectrum practice.
Manage all aspects of cloud operation's environment to provide for 24/7 availability including hosting, disaster recovery, security, infrastructure and application performance monitoring / alerting, and support for cloud environments
Oversee RunOps Event Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Configuration Management and Change Management Processes for all Cloud Services to ensure issues are being handled timely and according to SLAs
Manage DevOps application support, maintenance, and deployment including product patches, migration, and release rollouts
Interface and 'vendor' manage internal KPMG groups providing teams/services to the Cloud Operations group; including but not limited to: Service / Help Desk, Database Admins and general Tech Ops
Coordinate with development teams to create products that are cloud ready, resilient, and scalable
Define and report Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to monitor process health; define and report client facing service metrics
A minimum of three years of progressive experience in large complex information systems, and/or Cloud services
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field from an accredited college/university, MBA or an advanced degree is preferred
A minimum of five years of IT Service Management, data center, server, and storage management, virtualization, networking, systems management, and/or project management are recommended
Education or equivalent experience in ITIL and/or COBIT preferred for this position
Prior experience with AWS or Azure environments supporting distinct environments such as development, test, and production
Knowledge of and use of monitoring, tracking, logging, and reporting tools like New Relic, Nagios, Jira, Confluence, Splunk, Loggly, Tableau, Excel, etc.
