KPMG is currently seeking a Manager to join our KPMG Spectrum practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of cloud operation's environment to provide for 24/7 availability including hosting, disaster recovery, security, infrastructure and application performance monitoring / alerting, and support for cloud environments

  • Oversee RunOps Event Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Configuration Management and Change Management Processes for all Cloud Services to ensure issues are being handled timely and according to SLAs

  • Manage DevOps application support, maintenance, and deployment including product patches, migration, and release rollouts

  • Interface and 'vendor' manage internal KPMG groups providing teams/services to the Cloud Operations group; including but not limited to: Service / Help Desk, Database Admins and general Tech Ops

  • Coordinate with development teams to create products that are cloud ready, resilient, and scalable

  • Define and report Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to monitor process health; define and report client facing service metrics

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three years of progressive experience in large complex information systems, and/or Cloud services

  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field from an accredited college/university, MBA or an advanced degree is preferred

  • A minimum of five years of IT Service Management, data center, server, and storage management, virtualization, networking, systems management, and/or project management are recommended

  • Education or equivalent experience in ITIL and/or COBIT preferred for this position

  • Prior experience with AWS or Azure environments supporting distinct environments such as development, test, and production

  • Knowledge of and use of monitoring, tracking, logging, and reporting tools like New Relic, Nagios, Jira, Confluence, Splunk, Loggly, Tableau, Excel, etc.
